Original Powdershirt
Product Story
Mother Karen’s created the original Powdershirt as the perfect jacket for spring skiing, it instantly became a cult favorite in the Rocky Mountain ski scene and by the late 1970’s made its way to both the East and West coasts where it came to stand for something beyond skiing. Tradition breaking and tradition making, the classic pull-over construction with color block, raglan sleeves and the oversized kangaroo pocket is as iconic today as it was over forty years ago.
We updated the fabric to be more water-resistant, wind-resistant, and abrasion-resistant. The mid-weight fabric is also eco-friendly using 80% recycled polyester, with a very soft hand and mechanical stretch. This jacket wears better than ever.
*If you like things with more room for layering, we recommend sizing up. If you want a more fitted look, stick close to your measurements.
